Stuffed Mirchi Bajji

Stuffed Mirchi Bajji - How to make Mirchi Bajjii and make your evening more special.

Ingredients :
Long Green Chillies (Mirchi Bajji) - 12 nos
Oil - For deep frying

For Batter:
Bengal gram Flour - 1 cup
Rice Flour - 1/4 cup
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - To taste
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp

For Stuffing:

Peanuts - 1/2 cup
Bengal Gram - 1/4 cup
Tamarind Pulp - 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies - 2 nos
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Salt - To taste
Oil - 1 tsp

For Topping:
Chopped Onion - 1 large
Chopped Corriander - 1/2 bunch
Lemon Juice - 2 tsp
Tomato Ketchup - 2 tsps

Procedure:
1. Fry ingredients under stuffing in oil and let them cool down

2. Now grind the fried stuffing into thick paste by adding required amount of salt.

3. Slit long green chillies length wise and de-seed

4. Now fill them with grinded stuff and keep aside

5. Now using ingredients under Batter, prepare thick batter by adding little water

6. Heat oil for frying in a kadai and dip the stuffed chillies in batter and drop into hot oil.

7. Deep fry chillies until golden brown in color. Take out from the oil and drain excess oil.

8. Now top the bajjis with ingredients under Topping.

9. Tasty and yummy mouth watering mirchi bajjis are ready to eat.

Suggestions:
1. No need to add water, tamarind pulp's wetness is enough to form a thick paste.

2. While frying make sure the slit and stuffed part of the chillies is covered with excess batter so that while frying the grinded stuff may not ooze out into hot oil.

3. You can cover chillies with excess batter, no need to fry the stuff again as the stuff is already fried in oil before grinding.
